Kana's results

Sorry for the lag. Weather is nice and there's waves so i have to get mine.

Anyways here are some photos from Kana's fight. Unfortunately he lost in a decision. Not to make any excuses but he did take the fight on the fly. Write up from mmaspot.net:

Jared “The Jackhammer” Papazian took on one of his toughest opponents so far in his career as he went head-to-head with Kana Hyatt. Hyatt, hailing from Hawaii, wasted no time to accept the fight against Papazian, after a few opponents had backed down.

Papazian and Hyatt lasted all three rounds before the fight went to the judges’ decision, which was a unanimous decision in favor of Jared Papazian. All judges scored this bout 29-28.

Kana's Weigh In

Went to Kana's weigh in at the Commerce Casino. He is fighting in the BammaUSA bad beat on Friday September 24, 2010. His opponent Jared Papazian who had to sweat out the remaining pounds. He had a couple of hours to do it. He was asking if he can be a pound over, hell no sweat off the rest. Kana trained to make weight, he's hungry, grouchy, and moody. So he made him cut weight. So the Bad blood begins.

I got a text at 4 a.m and the plan was head south. Hit the water at 5 a.m and we were outta there by 8:30 and on the freeway home due to a quinceanera Mundo had to attend and i had to see my niece play her 2nd soccer game. Overhead waves but bad lighting. Hope this swell sticks around.

My youngest boy just turned 14. We went to Shakey's pizza and we reserved 2 tables for 50 luckily it was slow because we needed 4 more tables. Thanks to everyone that came out. He had a good time.

Sunday lunch

The famz got together at Captain Kidd's for a sunday lunch. I thought we were going to eat on the pier but...uhh no. Anyways after lunch we let the kids play on the sand near the pier. Place is filthy lasted about 30 mins at that spot then bounced back on the pier for some funnel cake.

Good but kinda pricey. I could've paid for everyone at Red Lobster. haha
