Kana is co-main event. He was suppose to be fighting Kiko Lopez but got changed a couple of days ago. He's now fighting Bobby Sanchez.

About Time

After being out of the water for a couple of days, it felt good to surf in nice weather and the water is starting to warm up again too.

We had to shoot up North this past weekend for some birthday parties. That 5 freeway sucks at the moment with this 1 lane BS. Took me 1hr plus to go 3 miles. Anyways the surprise bday was @ the W, of course another party was going on at the same time and the theme of that party was the White Party, where everyone wears white. Well some dude gets into a fight, gets stabbed a few times, and ruins everyones white clothes. The irony.

$7.00 for some soda. Didn't even bother asking about the alcohol.

Mauli Ola Foundation

The boys were helping out with the Mauli Ola Foundation. It's been going on since 2007. The foundation helps out children with Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a life shortening genetic disease that effects 30,000 people in the U.S. Children with CF live with what is a permanent sinus and chest cold, among other symptoms. Surfing, a natural way to get salt and moisture in the lungs, can help improve these symptoms.

Good Deed Sunday

Today was cool, the line up wasn't as bad as yesterday. I just want more waves. I think next week should be good.

We were chilling at the end of the lot when a car with Nevada plates decides to keep going. I don't know what she was thinking but she got stuck and the boys helped her out. Maybe she misses the desert.
