The boys were helping out with the Mauli Ola Foundation. It's been going on since 2007. The foundation helps out children with Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a life shortening genetic disease that effects 30,000 people in the U.S. Children with CF live with what is a permanent sinus and chest cold, among other symptoms. Surfing, a natural way to get salt and moisture in the lungs, can help improve these symptoms.
